High speed copy duplicator which does not depend on the application

FASTtape2300 copies the recorded image of a tape as it is in block unit.

For example, ideal for the purpose of use to copy one more set of backup tapes and store them in a remote place for disaster prevention.

FASTtape2300 has the following merits compared with copy function of backup software.
1) There is no distinction between a primary tape and a secondary tape and it enables easy recovery because it copies exactly the same tape
2) Since copying off-line, it does not put any load on the operation system.

On the other hand, it is possible to copy to a different type of tape, so you can use it for the purpose to migrate the tapes written in an older model to a new model at system renewal.
It is also used for copying large numbers of the same tapes for data distribution.
