Data Storage System

We showcase data storage solution for storing and managing large amounts of medical data such as biomedical, pathology specimen, PACS, surgical video, and electronic medical records easily, simply, and affordably. Many healthcare organizations are facing the challenge of the tightness of NAS free space due to rapid data increase. The data storage solution combining NAS with the world's only USB-connected LTO data storage system migrates infrequently accessed data from NAS to LTO tapes(*) to make NAS capacity optimize at all times. NAS and LTO drive can be easily connected via a USB connection. In addition, UNITEX ArchiveLT software provides users lots of archiving functions such as simple data retrieval, encryption, cloud integration, and automatic archiving.

(*) LTO 【Linear Tape-Open】

LTO tape
  • International standard magnetic tape media. The ideal media for long-term data storage, combining high capacity, low cost, 50-year durability, energy efficiency and safety
  • The latest generation LTO-9 can store up to 45TB of data. A technology roadmap has already been released for LTO-14, and it is expected that this media will be available for a long time to come.
  • Offline shelf management allows the amount of stored data to increase indefinitely, and it is possible to protect data by building an air gap to prevent cyber attacks with zero power consumption.
